BELLINGHAM, WA – The beloved Bellingham SeaFeast returns to Squalicum Harbor and Zuanich Point Park for its highly anticipated 2025 edition on Saturday and Sunday, September 27-28. This free two-day celebration of maritime culture, commercial fishing heritage, and Pacific Northwest culinary traditions promises an exciting blend of returning favorites and innovative new experiences for festival-goers of all ages.

Festival Favorites Return

SeaFeast 2025 will feature more than 25 diverse food vendors showcasing local seafood specialties, from classic fish and chips to innovative seafood tacos and unexpected culinary creations. Festival favorites include the traditional firepit salmon prepared by the Lummi Nation, offering visitors both a culinary delight and meaningful cultural experience that honors their deep connection to the land and sea.

The popular all-ages beer, wine, and cider garden returns to the picturesque shores of Zuanich Point Park, providing the perfect setting to pair craft beverages with fresh seafood. Families can enjoy hands-on activities including kids boat building with the Whatcom Maritime Museum, where children create and decorate wooden boats to take home, and the education & outreach booth passport activity where kids can win fun prizes.

Maritime enthusiasts can explore industry tours at All American Marine to see modern boat construction in action, while San Juan Cruises offers scenic boat rides around the bay. Active festival-goers can participate in the 5k Pirate Run around the beautiful waterfront harbor. The festival continues to celebrate Bellingham's working waterfront through interactive maritime activities, educational booths, and musical entertainment throughout the harbor.

Exciting New Experiences Debut

This year introduces several premium experiences, including a VIP Lounge in the Squalicum Boathouse featuring a complimentary raw oyster bar for those seeking an elevated festival experience, a lounge area to take a break from the festivities and quick access to the beer line. Art enthusiasts can participate in a unique enameled earrings workshop led by renowned Alaskan artist Ashley Lohr.

Pacific Catalyst expands dining options with exclusive dockside dinner and brunch experiences, offering intimate waterfront dining during the festival weekend. For the ultimate seafood adventure, festival-goers can embark on a multi-day seafood voyage through the San Juan Islands that departs directly following SeaFeast, extending the maritime celebration beyond the weekend.

New this year, families can enjoy the Kids Dinosaur and Pirate Parade that follows directly after the 5k Pirate Run, where children of all ages can dress up and march through Squalicum Harbor in sea-tastic style.
