A Message from Our Program Director

Hello, SeaFeasters!

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! We feel so grateful to have another successful Seafeast weekend this year. We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful place and celebrate the waterfront and EVERYONE who is part of that. This year we expanded our native recognition, diversified our food options, expanded our beer garden, and were mindful of having something for everyone each day.

None of this would have been possible if we didn’t have incredible community sponsors and long-term partnerships to ensure we create an incredible annual tradition for our county.

Festivals like ours are only possible with an incredible group of people behind the scenes who help make things flow and drive each day to be successful. Without them, Seafeast would not be possible.

To the SeaFeast board, thank you for your support and participation in helping make this year a big success for everyone. Get ready for 2024!

Be sure to save the dates of October 5 & 6 for SeaFeast 2024! We’ll kick the week off with our 2nd Annual Seafeast JAZZ Celebration with Aslan Brewing and Depot on Thursday, October 3!

Want to get involved? Reach out!

Thank you for being part of the growing journey!

Best Fishes,
Kevin

"
The Salmon Cycle represents the connection between the Salmon People and the Coast Salish/Lhaqtemish People. In Coast Salish tradition, ceremony must take place for the first Salmon that is caught, this is in honor of the Salmon People... For the Salmon have gave themselves so that the Salish People can survive. Salmon is still one of the main traditional foods of the Lhaqtemish People, stories must be told to remind the young people and community that protecting the waters for the Salmon People and other Sea Life is key." — Jason LaClair
